Cipriano Chopped on "Chopped"

Timothy Cipriano, director of food & nutrition services for the Guilford (CT) Public Schools, competed on the Thanksgiving episode of the Food Network show Chopped, broadcast November 14th. He lasted into the second round before being "Chopped" from the field.

The competition lasted three rounds, focusing successively on Thanksgiving themed appetizers, entrees and desserts. Cipriano made it past the appetizer round with his Corn Tamale Stuffing with Sauteed Gizzards and Bacon, but was cut after the entree round.
