California has released guidanceon how to provide small, specialized in-person learning and supervision for at-risk students and those with disabilities.

The guidance is aimed at schools located in counties on the state’s COVID-19 monitoring list who can’t reopen for full in-person class due to the high amount of COVID-19 present in their area.

Students would be divided into cohorts of no more than 14 students and two supervising adults. Cohorts are required to stay with each other throughout the day for all activities including meals and can’t mingle with those outside their group.
