The nutrition team at Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., is now offering Saturday breakfast and lunch in its weekly meal bundles.

Any child under 18, regardless of whether they're a BCPS student, can pick up the bundles of 12 meals for free on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the district's elementary, middle and high schools. Parents can also purchase meals for themselves.

BCPS is participating in remote learning until at least October. School officials will then reassess if it’s safe to open for in-person classes.
