Jordan-Elbridge (NY) High School has seen steady participation increases in a new breakfast program launched last November, reports the local news channel WSYR. From a start of about 40 meals a day, the daily count has recently grown to 70 out of a school enrollment of 541. According to the Food Bank of Central New York, only 15 percent of students in New York State eat a school breakfast, WSYR reports. The hot menu consists of bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and breakfast pizza
