April 10—Dressed in camouflage five women were sent into training Thursday morning at A.W. Cox Elementary School in Guilford, Conn. Elementary School nutrition professionals Debby Riccio, Debbie Rizzo, Lauri D’Anna, Lynn Roberts, Barbara Santagata and Edi Savetta participated in “Guilford Elementary School Lunch Ladies Boot Camp.”

Food Services Director Chef Timothy Cipriano said the goal is to bring in employees for a day dedicated to training them on new ideas and techniques.

This is the third boot-camp this year, which puts an emphasis on creating fun, healthy meals that students will actually eat.
