Beverly Hills (CA) USD will cut the hours of its foodservice employees this fall to save money in the deficit-plagued program, reports the Beverly Hills Courier. The reductions are expected to save $75,000 in salary, plus benefits, for the department that last year ran a $400,000 deficit. Participation rates are running at onlyu 21 percent at the elementary level and only eight percent in the high schools district-wide.
