Marketing firm Advantage Waypoint has appointed Mike Baker national director of K-12 programs. Most recently, Baker served as Southern Division Manager for Heinz North America. He has also worked with Rich Products Corp. as the national leader of its school foodservice team.

“Advantage Waypoint’s strategic positioning is cutting edge," says Baker. "It’s the first sales agency to take K-12 foodservice sales to another professional level with representation across the entire country. Advantage Waypoint is engaged, effective and knows how to leverage resources for its food manufacturing clients.”

“Our focus on the K-12 segment is a win-win for the manufacturers we represent and for the individual school districts," says Waypoint Vice President Kevin O’Beirne. "Our well-trained K-12 specialists really know their way around the school business and can help ensure our clients’ products are at the forefront of the school menu.”
