UNC Health Care to Operate Foodservices for Merger Partner High Point Regional Health

UNC Health Care's Dining Services Department is absorbing the 75 foodservice employees of High Point (NC) Regional Health, with which UNCHC merged last year, reports High Point Enterprise. High Point Regional's dining services will henceforth be operated by UNCHC's self-operated dining department. The 75 hourly employees had previously worked for Aramark Healthcare Support Services, which had managed High Point's dining operations under a contract that is now expiring.
