Metz names Solomon senior VP for healthcare

Industry veteran takes charge of rapidly growing division for contract management firm. Metz Culinary Management, based in Dallas, Pa., has promoted Craig Solomon to senior vice president of healthcare, president and CEO Jeff Metz has announced.

Metz Culinary Management, based in Dallas, Pa., has promoted Craig Solomon to senior vice president of healthcare, president and CEO Jeff Metz has announced.

“Healthcare is one of our fastest growing divisions and Craig leading the team will help us streamline our efforts and ensure consistency and quality for all of our healthcare partners,” Metz said in a press release. “Craig has built solid, lasting client relationships by acquiring feedback and developing dining programs that best meet their needs. His promotion is well-deserved and we look forward to the continuing growth of the healthcare division.”

Solomon was hired by Metz in 1996 to be general manager at Mercy Hospital, in Wilkes-Barre, where he had been working as operations manager. Metz promoted him to district manager in 2001, and he became vice president of healthcare in 2008. Overall, Solomon has more than 25 years’ experience in foodservice and hospitality.
