Mazzone Hospitality has expanded its new senior living division by reaching a new deal to manage dining services for 250 residents at the Avila Retirement Community in Albany, New York.

Mazzone is the Albany region's largest catering company. The business, started by Angelo Mazzone, operates seven restaurants and manages dining operations at several large manufacturing companies. Industrial clients include the GlobalFoundries computer chip factory in Malta, the SI Group, a resin maker in Niskayuna and Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, an East Greenbush drug manufacturer. Mazzone also has won the contract at the new $66.5 million convention center that is being built in downtown Albany.

The catering and restaurant company started a new Prime Life division in June, shortly after reaching a deal to provide dining services at the 250-unit Beltrone Living Center in Colonie.
