Luxury Eatery at Summa Health Facilities

Virtues, an upscale onsite dining facility, recently opened on the ground floor of the new Brennan Critical Care Center at the Akron (OH) City Hospital.

It is the first of several upscale restaurants planned for Summa Health facilities.

"We wanted to provide another level of services," says Tony Mohseninia, corporate executive chef at Summa Health Facilities in Akron (OH). "Virtues not only keeps customers onsite, but attracts off-campus customers as well."

The valet parking, baby grand piano and "chic eats," paired with a gamut of gourmet food items, make Virtues a favorite noshing spot for nurses, doctors, visitors and outsiders alike.

Menu offerings range from a grilled swordfish sandwich to calamari tempura with soy-chili ponzu sauce With an eye on nutrition "the hospital's dietitians are helping train the staff to identify menu items appropriate for those on special diets," adds Mohseninia.
