Legends Hospitality Names New CEO

Legends Hospitality Management, the entity formed in 2008 by the NFL's Dallas Cowboys and Major League Baseball's New York Yankees to operate dining and concessions at their home stadiums, has named former Madison Square Garden CEO Dave Checketts its chairman and CEO. The company took over management of foodservice the New Yankee Stadium and Cowboys Stadium when they opened in 2009.

Subsequently, Legends struck deals with the Rose Bowl stadium in Pasadena, CA, for its luxury seating and with the NFL's San Francisco 49ers for its new stadium, scheduled to open in 2014. Checketts told the New York Times that Legends' revenue last year was more than $200 million.
