LAUSD Healthy Lunch Menu Panned by Students: LA Times

Los Angeles Unified School District's introduction of healthful lunches has been a "flop," says a Los Angeles Times report. Participation has dropped by more than 13% and some students—and even some adults—have taken to selling "black market" alternatives like chips, candy and even fast food burgers. The district says the menu will be revised with traditional favorites like hamburgers and pizza reintroduced.
