Retail Operations at Memorial Hermann-TMC include a full service Starbucks, a Prime Protein station offering items such as prime rib and stuffed pork loin, a create-your-own baked potato or taco salad location with toppings such as crab and Hollandaise sauce and a high end French Bakery offering premium sandwiches, salads, and fresh baked goods. The cafeteria has platforms for a full service grill, entrée line with a rotating five week cycle menu, deli, pizza, salad bar, and a “Special Features” Bar that is on a three week cycle menu focusing on different ethnic foods such as Indian, Caribbean, Southern Flare, and Greek.A c-store is currently under construction that will be open 24 hours.

Patient Dining Services utilizes Sodexo’s At Your Request Room Service platform, which offers cooked-to-order meals between 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. with 45 minute delivery, or the Expressly for YOU host/hostess assisted meal service with designated delivery times. The service line is able to provide several menu options depending on patient diet requirement, including Regular, Heart Healthy, Gluten Free, Renal, Pediatric, Arabic, and Suites Services, along with Spanish Menus.

The call center is staffed with Spanish operators to assist with the needs of the diverse patient population and spirit lifters such as special holiday tray mats, special wellness menu items, birthday cakes, and fun Did-You-Know? cards are used to boost patient morale.

Designated service line patient advocates assist with diet education, meal alternatives, snack customization, service recovery and communication with Nursing and Clinical Nutrition while a dedicated executive and sous chef offers a Dining With the Chef program that provides long term patients and a guest with an in-room restaurant experience complete with fine china and linen service, with regional and ethnic menu alternatives available.
