Dining operations at Mass General are currently undergoing extensive renovation and upgrading. The retail dining environment currently has 10 locations, the largest being Eat Street Café, which offers a variety of dining choices, including healthy options bearing the hospital’s own BeFit label.

Other retail outlets include Tea Leaves and Coffee Beans with its menu of made-to-order hot breakfast sandwiches, freshly baked muffins and pastries in the morning, and hot panini sandwiches, soups, daily hot entrées and grab-and-go sandwiches and salads later, along with coffee, a tea bar and a variety of pastries, desserts and frozen soft-serve ice cream.

There’s also Riverside Café (breakfast, a variety of sandwiches, soups, salads, plus desserts and hot and cold beverages), Blossom Street Café (coffee, tea, premade sandwiches, soups, frozen yogurt, snacks, a variety of hot and cold beverages), Coffee Central (coffee, tea, fruit smoothies, freshly baked muffins, pastries, cookies, fruit) and Coffee South (coffee, tea, freshly baked pastries, bagels, cold beverages, smoothies).

Coffee Central, which operates 24/7, received a significant overhaul a couple of years ago to more efficiently serve the high-volume traffic it draws in its busy location in the main lobby of the complex’s Gray Building.
