Midnight shift staff at two southwest campuses of Heritage Valley Health System can now get deliveries of freshly made meals ranging from breakfasts to lunch and dinner type items thanks to the system's foodservice management company, Cura Hospitality. Cura is using its status as a unit of the Eat 'n Park Restaurants organization to make the items available off the commercial chain's menu through a program called Night Smiles.

First piloted a few months ago at the system's Sewickley and Beaver campuses, the service lets employees working the 11 pm-7 am shift place orders by 1 am for delivery by 2 am. Selections range from the Eat 'n Park chain's proprietary breakfast menus, including hot items, as well as appetizers, dinners, sandwiches, burgers and salads.

All selections are made fresh to order at the nearby chain unit kitchens and packed in thermal bags for individual delivery. Employees pay using Cura's voucher card program.

“We're excited to bring our expertise in food service management to Heritage Valley,” says Cura President/Founder Mitch Possinger. “This unique collaboration with Eat'n Park gives us the opportunity to deliver a wide variety of exciting fresh food options to our patients, guests and employees.”
