The foodservice team at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton, N.C., has been offering free to-go family meals for hospital employees, The Sampson Independent reports

The foodservice team started providing the meals around the holidays as a way to say thank you to hospital staff. They were such a success that they are now offered once a month.

Employees are able to preorder the meals online and can choose from several pickup times. Those working night shifts can receive their meals cold with instructions for reheating them in an oven or microwave.

The meals feed a family of four, and past offerings include rotisserie chicken and chicken Alfredo.
