Hospital cafeteria adds drama with wood-fired pizza oven

Bradford Regional Medical Center in Bradford, Pa., has unveiled its newly renovated cafeteria, which includes a stone wood-fired pizza oven, expanded seating and energy-efficient equipment, The Bradford Era reports.

The oven is a particular focal point, hospital officials note, as it adds some drama to the eatery’s ambiance.

Aramark, the hospital’s foodservice provider, funded the $591,000 revamp and provided an additional $130,000 for a new dish room. The hospital held a soft opening this week as a precursor to the official grand opening taking place later this month.
