As part of a series of changes in its top management, Comcast Spectacor has appointed Glen Brandeburg to the newly created role of president and COO of its Spectra Venue Management and Food Services & Hospitality units. Other changes include the promotion of President/COO Dave Scott to president/CEO of the company reporting to Chairman Ed Snider and the naming of John Page, previously president of Spectra Venue Management (formerly Global Spectrum) to be president of the company’s Wells Fargo Complex property.

Brandeburg joins Comcast Spectacor after 15 years with Wendy’s, where he was most recently senior vice president of operations, innovation, and business strategy. He will report directly to Scott and to Ken Young, president of Spectra Food Services & Hospitality with respect to Food Services & Hospitality issues.

“Adding Glen to Spectra’s management team is a natural step as we bring Venue Management and Food Services & Hospitality closer to one another,” Young said in a statement accompanying the announcement. “As we strive to create even more operational synergies for our customers and fans, I’m looking forward to working closely with Glen to help our existing customers grow their businesses, and bring new clients into the fold.”

“Glen is a highly experienced and creative change agent, and we are very excited to have him join us,” added Scott. “He will be an integral part of the ongoing transformation of Spectra into a single unified brand that provides end-to-end solutions for venues, redefining fan experiences everywhere.”

During his 15-year career at Wendy’s, Brandeburg also served as vice president of operations integration, innovation and training; region project director; and director of area operations. He previously spent eight years with Yum! Brands and Pizza Hut, including four as director of operations.

Spectra was recently formed through the consolidation of several Comcast-Spectacor units including Ovations Food Services, a specialist in providing concessions and other F&B services to entertainment venues, including Oakland’s O.co Coliseum, home of both the NFL’s Raiders and Major League Baseball’s A’s. Ovations placed No. 11 on FM's 2015 Top 50 Contract Management Companies listing.
