A number of programs designed to engage seniors have been rolled out at various locations, ranging from an Iron Chef style competition among teams composed of Cura chefs and residents to Growers Days where residents help tend gardens that then supply the venue kitchen with fresh produce during the warm months. Quick Looks
To facilitate its growth in the hospital segment, Cura recently added Kimmi Campagna as director of the patient experience and partnership development for its Acute Care Services unit. She helps over see the transition of dining services to Cura management, coordinates training, monitors patient satisfaction scores and facilitates the delivery of needed resources to clients in that segment.
Cura is one of two onsite foodservice divisions of the Eat ‘n Park Hospitality Group’s Onsite Brands Division (the other is #21 Parkhurst Dining Services). Originally operating exclusively in the senior dining segment, the company branched into hospital foodservice several years ago and has seen its business in that segment grow.
