Food is being prepared in other areas of Saint John’s Health Center after a “small number” of cockroaches were found in its cafeteria, reports NBC4 Los Angeles.

With the help of county health officials, the hospital’s kitchen closed for two days to make sure the problem was resolved.

Officials apologized for the “inconvenience” imposed upon their staff, physicians and visitors via a news release.
