June 3-Scott Graves, certified executive chef, has joined the foodservice staff at St. Elizabeth's Community Hospital in Red Bluff, Calif.

Graves was previously a foodservice sergeant and kitchen manager with the U.S. Army. He was also a member of the Army's Culinary Olympic Team and is the only soldier chef to win Senior Chef of the Year for two years in a row.

In addition to Graves's appointment, the hospital's foodservice department plans to offer more comfort food, including bringing back homemade biscuits, a local favorite that was dropped from the hospital's menu several years ago.
