Students using up end-of-year culinary cash account excess funds have so overwhelmed the Corner Store c-store on the campus of Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisc. that it has discontinued accepting bulk orders, reports the school's The Lawrentian campus paper. The problems included lack of space to store the excess inventory being ordered and the overwhelming of the staff even after a pair of extra employees were added to help handle the expected rush.

Instead, Lawrence's campus dining services provider Bon Appetit Management Co. is encouraging students to stock up on favorite items over time. As an alternative, it is also offering an option in which students can donate excess culinary cash to a list of designated charities.
