A massive $950 million expansion of Boston's TD Garden arena complex will include a 63,000 square foot Star Market unit that will be downtown Boston's largest grocery store, reports the Boston Herald. The project will be overseen by TD Garden owner Delaware North, which operates retail and concessions at the venue that is the home of the NBA's Boston Celtics and the NHL's Boston Bruins.

It also includes three towers—one a 306-room hotel, one for some 500 residences and one for 668.000 square feet of office space—as well as retail stores, restaurants and parking for 800. Construction is expected to start within the next year with the grocery tentatively scheduled to open in 2018.
