Mark Holmes has been named national director of culinary operations at The Goodman Group, a company that develops and manages senior-living communities.

In his new role, Holmes—formerly the director of hospitality & dining services at HarborChase in Florida—will oversee the company’s Food For Life Program, which promotes senior-living community residents’ well-being and features minimally processed foods that are locally sourced and plant-based.

"Mark brings extensive expertise in culinary operations and dining services, including more than 20 years in upscale senior living and retirement communities," said Craig Edinger, vice president of senior living and healthcare for the Goodman Group, in a statement. "During his career, he has implemented many dining initiatives to increase customer satisfaction and enable profitable growth in high volume dining environments."
