Philadephia museum The Franklin Institute has partnered with foodservice vendor Levy to create an events platform that will provide hospitality services specifically for the museum.

Seravezza Events will serve up catering for weddings, conferences and other gatherings held on site, as well as handle day-to-day foodservice for The Franklin Institute’s two dining concepts: The Eatery and The Cafe.

The Eatery, which was recently redesigned, offers options such as bistro bowls and salads made with local ingredients, while The Cafe’s menu centers around convenience-type fare.

In addition, Seravezza plans to highlight local minority- and women-owned businesses through a collaboration with Thompson Hospitality, a minority-owned foodservice company based in Virginia.

“We’re honored to partner with The Franklin Institute, which shares our same passion for innovation, discovery, and inclusivity,” Andy Lansing, CEO of Levy, said in a statement. “Through these shared values, we created Seravezza Events to grow a food and beverage experience that puts the community first, and sets a new standard for elevated hospitality at one of Philadelphia’s true cultural gathering places.”
