Texas A&M switch to contract foodservice finalized

About 1,600 employees are transitioning from A&M employment to Compass.

Aug. 15—The Texas A&M University System and a Compass Group North America company have formalized their deal concerning A&M Dining Services.

Wednesday, the System announced the update on the contract with Compass, which includes operation of landscaping, maintenance of buildings, custodial services and dining. The original deal was announced in June.

Some 1,600 employees are in the process of transitioning from A&M employment to Compass.
