Jan. 3—Dining services at the University of West Florida, in Pensacola, launched a campuswide scavenger hunt to introduce students to new dining locations on campus. To participate in the event, students were asked to dine at certain locations and make 10 purchases.
After completing the hunt, students gathered the receipts they collected throughout the week and turned them into dining services in Building 22 to claim their prize. The grand prize was $100 in dining bucks and a Coby Snapp Digital Camcorder. Everyone who completed the hunt thereafter received a Papa John’s pizza and 20oz soda.
