Russ Meyer wins NACUFS’ Minah Award

University of Nevada's director honored for his 30-plus years in college foodservice.

July 12—Russ Meyer, associate director for housing operations and dining services at the University of Nevada, Reno, received the Theodore W. Minah Award from the National Association of College and University Food Services.

Meyer was recognized for his support of NACUFS during his more than 30 years in college foodservice, including his service as association president and his work at regional and national conferences. During his career Meyer has worked in foodservice at the University of Missouri, the University of Maine and Michigan State University. He graduated from Michigan State University with a B.S. in zoology.
