Piccadilly Restaurants has had a presence in Memphis for 64 years, and today the chain operates five popular cafeterias in the area.

It seeks an even bigger local impact as it rolls out its food-service division in the Bluff City. With Piccadilly Food Service, the company plans to offer its signature Southern home-style foods to major local employers, including schools, corporations and hospitals looking to outsource food-service operations. This isn't the first time the food-service division has operated in Memphis. It held a three-year contract with Metropolitan Inter-Faith Association, but lost that business to a competitor in 2008.

Since Baton Rouge, La.-based Piccadilly launched its food-service division in 2005, it has grown to more than 70 locations across the southeastern U.S.
