Metz & Assocs. partnered with major food suppliers to celebrate Mardi Gras at several of its college accounts and award scholarships totaling $15,000 to students.

Celebrations were held at: College Misericordia, Dallas, PA; Wilkes Univ., Wilkes-Barre, PA; Mount Aloysius College, Cresson, PA; Gannon Univ., Erie, PA and Lake Erie College, Painesville, OH.

Metz vendors, including U.S. Foodservice, Mrs. T's Pierogies, Tyson Chicken, Specialty Brands and Simplot, served samples of their newest and most popular cuisine. Students were then asked to give their opinions of the various items offered and a random drawing from all the surveys returned was held to award scholarships ranging from $100 to $500.
