Metz Culinary Management is launching a new service line for the healthcare segment.

Chef2Home by Metz will provide health plan members, patients and other individuals with healthy meals delivered to their homes.

Diners can select from a variety of meals tailored to fit several categories, such as low sodium, heart healthy, diabetes friendly, vegetarian, pureed, kosher and halal. The meals are prepared fresh, then frozen.

For some, the meals may be covered through Medicare, Medicaid, emergency relief programs and similar initiatives, but a self-pay option is also available.

“Chef2Home prioritizes quality for our customers with restaurant-inspired meals that taste great,” Deborah Origer, Chef2Home vice president, said in a statement. “We are excited to bring these delicious options directly to our customers on an individual basis, empowering them to optimize their health and wellness.”
