Luby’s contract operations generate double-digit revenue growth

The foodservice management division of the Luby’s cafeteria company boosted revenues for the fiscal year ended Aug. 27 by 11.4 percent, to $18.6 million, the company announced.

OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill. — The foodservice management division of the Luby’s cafeteria company boosted revenues for the fiscal year ended Aug. 27 by 11.4 percent, to $18.6 million, the company announced.

The operation added four accounts during the year, to a total of 25 by Sept. 1.  Management noted that the division’s profit margins hit 12.8 percent, far surpassing their target of 9 percent.
