Life Care Centers hires Decker as executive FSD

Decker comes to the position after seven years at Life Care Center of Sarasota, Fla. Life Care Centers of America is welcoming a new executive food service director to the campus, David Decker.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Life Care Centers of America is welcoming a new executive food service director to the campus, David Decker. “We are delighted to welcome David to our corporate family in Cleveland,” said Beecher Hunter, Life Care president. “He comes here after working for seven years at Life Care Center of Sarasota, Florida, a building renowned for the quality of its food and service. His appointment is a restatement of our commitment to a fine-dining experience for those we serve, both at our company headquarters and in our centers around the country.”

Mr.Decker oversees the meals, snacks and catering on Life Care’s corporate campus, working with Marsha Young, chef, and Vicki Smith, dining room manager. Almost daily, the team provides food and drink for meetings in one department or another. It also provides for bigger events like the annual Associate Christmas Party and orientation meetings. 

“I’m looking forward to working here,” said Mr. Decker. “I’ve got a phenomenal crew in the kitchen, and you don’t find that everywhere.”
