Interactive menu helps students calculate calorie intake

West Ottawa Public Schools has launched interactive menus that allow students to sort menu items by allergen, calculate calories and review other nutrition information, reports hollandsentinel.com.

The menus, which were presented to the local board of education this week, are available on the district’s website and via a smartphone app.
