April 13—The National Society for Healthcare Foodservice Management (HFM) is accepting entries for its 5th Annual HFM Culinary Competition. To be eligible for the competition, you must be a culinary professional-chef, cook or production personnel-who is employed at an HFM member facility. Each facility's team will create an original entrée recipe with side dishes and sauces that feature Tyson Food Service's IBP Flat Iron Everyday Steaks. Tyson Food Service is sponsoring the event.

Five teams of finalists will be selected to compete live at the 2009 HFM Annual Leadership Conference Aug. 25, in Indian Wells, Calif. HFM will provide free registration to the conference, two nights at the hotel and a $500 scholarship to the five chef finalists.

To apply for the competition or for complete rules, visit hfm.org or e-mail an entry to culinary @hfm.org. All entries must be received by May 1.
