Fitter Foods program increases healthy options at U. of Oklahoma

Program allows students to easily identify healthy menu items.

Feb. 20—An on-campus initiative intended to help students at the University of Oklahoma, in Norman, make more healthful nutritional decisions is being restructured to make a greater impact at restaurants and eateries unique to campus.

The Fitter Foods program launced as a pilot program in March, but the department decided it needed to be augmented to better educate customers about the healthy options available at campus restaurants.
