March 12—Denny’s Fresh Express, Denny’s first quick-service restaurant, recently opened at 17,500-student California State University, San Bernardino.

Denny’s Fresh Express features a full-service grill, a smoothie bar and a grab-and-go area. The restaurant will serve breakfast all day including the company’s signature Grand Slam breakfasts. Lunch options include burgers and panini sandwiches. The location also features Denny’s “Better For You” meal options, which answer the demand for healthier options. The grab-and-go area features salads, fruit cups and desserts.

Sodexo, which manages the campus’s foodservice brought in Denny’s to answer demand for an all-day breakfast option and affordable on-campus dining.

“Denny’s Fresh Express is already a hit with the students and faculty alike; it really is the perfect solution for quality dining at all meal periods,” Diane Keate, district manager for Sodexo, said in a press release.
