Atlanta’s new baseball stadium — SunTrust Park — is the next stop for Delaware North Sportservice.

The Buffalo-based company has been signed as the concessions operator at the $672 million stadium, now under construction and scheduled to open in 2017.

Delaware North has contracts with more than 50 major professional sports franchises.

“We’re excited to partner with a company that has deep knowledge and experience in the food and beverage industry,” said Mike Plant, executive vice president of business operations for the Atlanta Braves, in a statement. “Delaware North Sportservice is known for providing first-class food and beverage, outstanding customer service and a commitment to local restaurants and vendors. They also have a long history of working with Major League Baseball organizations, including those transitioning into new ballparks, which was very appealing to us.”

SportsBusines Journal reported the stadium pact is for seven years. Terms were not disclosed.
