To help engage fans during this most unusual football season, the Dallas Cowboys are launching a new virtual cooking series dubbed Eat Like the Cowboys.
The weekly series, which launches on Thursday, will help fans learn how to recreate their favorite concession items in their own kitchens.
Chefs including Frank Sanchez, executive chef of The Star at Frisco, Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters, and Heather Fuller, concessions chef at AT&T Stadium, will be featured during the episodes, as well as special guests including current and former Cowboys players.
The series will stream via Facebook and Instagram, and will also raise money for Fuel Up To Play 60, a program from the Cowboys and nonprofit Dairy MAX that seeks to provide school meals for K-12 students.
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, stadiums across the U.S. have sought new ways to connect with fans as capacity limits are keeping many of them out of the stands. At NFL stadiums, spectators are generally restricted to around 25% capacity.
