The dining team at Boston University recently received active shooter training, The Daily Free Press reports.
During its latest employee training and safety briefing, the Boston school’s food vendor, Aramark, also included a procedure on how to address an active shooter situation.
School officials say that Aramark often includes security and safety information as part of its employee training, but it decided to specifically address active shooter situations due to recent school shootings around the country.
