2021 FAME Award winners announced

The recipients of the 2021 FAME (Foodservice Achievement Management Excellence) Awards have been announced. Maria Eunice, director of food and nutrition services at Alachua County Public Schools in Gainesville, Fla., has taken home the top honor, the Golden Foodservice Director of the Year Award.

Other award recipients include:

  • Adam Russo, director of school food and nutrition services at Prince William County Public Schools in Manassas, Va., Silver Leadership Award

  • Richard Miles, coordinator of nutrition and wellness at Seminole County Public Schools in Sanford, Fla., Silver Spirit Award

  • Megan Cook, director of child nutrition at Corona-Norco Unified School District in Corona, Calif., Silver Rising Star Award 

The winners will be honored during the School Nutrition Association's School Nutrition Industry Conference this January, which will be held virtually due to COVID-19.
