April 7—Staying Competitive: Know Your Trends is the theme for the Society for Foodservice Management’s 2011 Critical Issues Conference, which will be held April 14 at the New York Stock Exchange in New York City.
The objective of this year's conference is to provide operators with foodservice trends to ensure their operations stay competitive, according to the conference Web site. Along with networking opportunities, attendees will hear from industry leaders such as Warren Solochek, vice president of client development for The NPD Group; Tony Almeida, D.H.C.F.A., director of food and nutrition for Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital; and Regenia Phillips, director of residential operations for Yale Dining at Yale University.
