Which flavors would you like to see offered more often in restaurant meals?
While consumers continue to yearn for garlic and mainstream ethnic flavors in their restaurant meals, they are showing a marked increase in interest in chipotle as a flavor accent, with citrus and berry flavors also on an upswing. Shown are the avors selected most often by over 100,000 consumersparticipating in The NPD Group’s daily CREST® consumer tracker for the years ending June 2005 and June 2009. Panelists were/are asked to select any of the more than 20 flavor choices listed.
