Waco (TX) ISD will deploy two school buses as mobile dining centers to serve summer meals to students under a new Meals on the Bus program, reports the Waco Tribune. The goal is to get free lunches to children who may not have transportation to the nearly 20 summer feeding sites the district operates. The buses will each target up to seven locations and accommodate up to 50 children, who will eat on collapsible tables.
