On March 31, Virginia Tech Dining Services opened its newest outlet, Burger '37, in the Squires Student Center, where it replaced a branded Sbarro pizza station that had been there since 2003. The venue also includes an Au Bon Pain outlet that serves nearly 2,400 customers daily.

Burger '37 offers a menu of regular and signature gourmet burgers, hand cut fries and milkshakes and will operate seven days a week to serve lunch and dinner. Burger choices include vegetarian varieties made with rice and beans, with gluten-free buns also being an option. There are also a series of signature burgers with a variety of topping such as Bacon & Egg, Mushroom & Swiss Cheese, Pepper Jack/Salsa/Avocado and Bleu Cheese/Fried Onions/A1 Sauce. Milkshake choices include Brownie, Cookies & Cream, Salted Caramel and Peanut Butter Banana.
