The University of Washington has added a selection of kosher/halal sandwiches to its offerings to satisfy Jewish and Muslim diners who are looking for more variety in quick meal options. Available at two Express Market locations, the seven varieties of sandwich are prepared by a firm in nearby Renton, Nosh Away Catering. UW has an estimated 3,000 Jewish students and staff on its main Seattle campus, as well as hundreds of Muslims who eat only halal meals.
