The University of North Texas has named Bill McNeace executive director of university dining services. He will be responsible for leadership and operational management of the five university cafeterias and various other retail dining outlets on the UNT campus, as well as campus-wide catering.

McNeace comes from Aramark, for which he most recently served as regional vice president for campus services in Dallas. Previously, he was senior foodservice director for Aramark’s operations at Emory University and district manager overseeing accounts at several Atlanta area universities. McNeace also served as an adjunct professor at UNT for Special Events Management in the School of Hospitality Management and as a consultant for the division of Campus Life at Emory.

As dining services director, he will oversee the transition from a contracted retail dining services business model to a comprehensive integrated dining services operation for UNT providing dining options for the entire campus. He will also oversee the ongoing development and implementation of sustainable dining practices in collaboration with the university’s evolving sustainability programs.
