Children up to 6 years old can now eat at a reduced rate at two dining halls on the University of North Carolina campus, reports the Daily Tar Heel. Meal plan holders can pay $5 for a child to eat at Top of Lenoir and Rams Head dining halls using Dining Flex, cash, credit or debit cards. The program began in October. In addition, if faculty or staff bring a child to participating dining halls, that child will be able eat at the reduced rate even if they do not hold a meal plan.
