Foodservice operations at historic black college total about $1 million annually in cash sales.

The University of Maryland at Eastern Shore will contract out management of its previously self-operated campus dining operations to a yet-to-be-named company beginning July 1, reports delmarvanow.com. Those dining operations include the Plateau dining hall, Oasis faculty and guest dining room, Hawk’s Nest snack bar and Cafe Grande coffee shop/cyber cafe. Cash sales total around $1 million annually. The historically black university located in Princess Anne is part of the University of Maryland system and has approximately 4,000 undergraduate students.
